MTC has created the Minibit service for all its subscribers who need unlimited access to the network. If Internet access is not needed often or the client is not a fan of monthly subscription fees, then this service will be an excellent solution.

After activating this service from MTS, the subscriber will not need to independently calculate the cost of Internet traffic. time will not be paid when the client does not use the Internet in any way. advantages of the minibit service from MTS unlimited access to the Internet via affordable price without a subscription fee, the fee is charged on the day the client used the Internet. If the client uses the Internet throughout the day while in different regions, then the subscription fee is carried out according to the tariffs of the region where the first access to the network was made. There is no double monthly fee in this tariff.

For example, let's consider the situation: the client activated the service from MTS Minibit with traffic of 5 Megabytes per day. The very first access to the network was made in St. Petersburg and 2 MB of traffic was spent. Only 15 rubles will be debited from the subscriber’s mobile account. Then the Internet was accessed on the same day, but in a different region. Additional fees for Internet use will not be charged to the client. On the second day, access to the network was made using intranet roaming and 30 rubles will be debited from the client’s mobile account.

Tariffing for this service will be carried out upon first login to the network from 03:00 - 03:00. Each subscriber can easily disable this service.

The reasons may be different, from banal uselessness mobile internet before connecting to another, more profitable service or tariff option. Not everyone knows how to disable the MiniBIT service on MTS, but it is not too difficult to do.

What should you pay attention to?

After completing the operations, you must carefully check whether the additional option is really disabled. U mobile operators There are often various errors with equipment or programs, which is why disabling the MiniBIT service on MTS may not happen the first time.
As you can see, you can disable the SuperBIT service in a huge number of ways. Those who find it more convenient to remove services themselves will be able to use the appropriate methods. People who do not want to deal with disabling additional options on their own can contact the operator for help, but here you need to be persistent, since the operator may begin to dissuade you from disabling this

MTS Corporation has developed quite a lot of services that are aimed at profitable use of the Internet. They include different amounts of traffic and different costs. Also, the subscription fee can be charged either on a monthly basis or once a day. In addition, you can find options that do not have a monthly fee at all. Accordingly, money is written off only for used traffic. An example of such an option is “Mini Bit” from mts. It is worth noting that this service can also be activated in the Crimea.

This function is suitable for those subscribers who do not use the Internet every day. Accordingly, it is beneficial to use it when accessing the Internet periodically, for example, a couple of times a week or even a month. Thus, there is no need to use tariff plans, where traffic is provided. It will be cheaper to use the minibit service.

The function only works when network connections are detected. If this connection is registered, the corresponding amount will be debited from the phone balance. The service is billed on a per-megabyte basis. Payment is made for every 10 MB used. The reporting period is considered to be 24 hours. If there was no access to the network, then there will be no debits either.

Tariffication

There is no way to unequivocally answer the question of what the cost of minibit option services is. Because each individual region has its own price. Let's look at the example of Moscow and the region. Payment for options for the mini bit service will be 20 rubles for the first 10 MB used. The remaining 10 MB will be charged at 10 rubles.

It is worth noting that there is a daily connection limit. Thus, clients can connect to the minibit service only 9 times per day. The total is 100 MB. If this volume turns out to be small, there are always additional options from MTS that allow you to increase traffic - turbo buttons.

When traveling to neighboring regions from home, the connection fee will double. Accordingly, it will be 40 rubles for the first 10 MB, and for the rest it will be 20 rubles. The number of possible activations is similar to the home region.

It is possible to disable the additional 10 MB. To do this, you can use the service combination * 111 * 931 #.

If during the trip you happen to end up in two regions with different tariffs, then the payment will be double. And it will initially be 20 rubles, and then 40 rubles for services in another region. A similar write-off is made for additional megabytes.

Connection option

You can enable the minibit option in two ways:

  1. Use the online assistant or through your personal account on the MTS website.
  2. Use the service combination of symbols and numbers * 111 * 62 #. Then select the first item in the window that appears.

To check the traffic used, you can use a simple request * 217 #.

Disabling the option

If the mini bit service is no longer needed, you can always turn it off. To do this you need to use:

  1. Personal Area or online assistant;
  2. Service command * 111 * 62 #, select the second item in the window that appears.

It is worth noting that it is not suitable for all subscribers this option. Since modern gadgets require constant updates and access to the network. A mini bit is not suitable for such manipulations, but a simple bit or a super bit will come in handy. Reviews from MTS customers about the mini bit service are mixed. After all, it is quite expensive, especially in roaming. But of course there are people who are completely satisfied with the option and are quite economical.

MiniBit is a service for MTS subscribers who do not need access to the Internet from a smartphone all the time, but from time to time. Therefore, payments are made not daily or monthly, but in accordance with the amount of megabytes spent. If you no longer need such a service, let's find out how to disable it.

Disable MiniBit on MTS

You can cancel this service at any time, without restrictions. Before doing this, check the amount of traffic remaining in your account using the command *217# and “Call” - you may want to use the accrued megabytes.

  • dial the combination *111*62# + “Call” from the phone keyboard;
  • we will be connected to voice assistant, after listening to the prompts of which, select item “2”;
  • Press the required number on the phone - the service will be disabled;
  • in the same way, you can disable “MiniBit” through the “Personal Account” from MTS online;
  • It is also convenient to deactivate by sending an SMS with the text 620 to number 111.

An interesting feature of the service is the following: if a user has not connected to the Internet for 15 days or used less than 2 MB of traffic, the service is disabled automatically. If any nuances remain unclear, contact MTS technical support by calling 0890 or 8 800 250 0890.

We were looking forward to the release of the new unlimited Internet option from MTS “MiniBIT”.

Such impatient anticipation of many subscribers was very noticeable both in the large number of discussions about the release of the option on thematic forums, and in the significant increase in traffic for the request “minibit” of our website.

However, yesterday the mobile operator MTS did not post the corresponding news about the release of “MiniBIT”, although just yesterday the option became available for connection in the Internet assistant, and its detailed description can be found in the corresponding section of the MTS website.

And only today, June 8, late in the evening, with a 24-hour delay, information about the service appeared in the MTS company news. Intrigued? Well, it was rather in vain, because the option turned out to be much less interesting than expected. Let's take a look at its price parameters and at the same time compare it with the usual “BIT” and “SuperBIT”:

Service MiniBIT BIT SuperBIT
Subscription fee (RUB/day) 15* 149** 299**
Connection cost 0 0 0
Traffic quota by volume Unlimited Unlimited Unlimited
Traffic quota by speed The first 5 MB are unlimited, then - 32 Kbps The first 50 MB is unlimited, then - 64 Kbps The first 100 MB is unlimited, then - 128 Kbps
Coverage area Moscow and Moscow region Moscow and Moscow region All Russia

* - written off once per day of use.

** - written off immediately per month of use.

You can activate the MTS “MiniBIT” option by typing the combination *111*62 # - “call send” or through the familiar “Internet Assistant”.

So, we see that the “MiniBIT” option, if used daily, will cost you as much as 450 rub. per month! At the same time, for that kind of money, the traffic quota for speed is more than strictly limited - without a limit, we only get the first 5 MB per day, after which it drops to pitiful 32 Kbps, and at this speed, it is impossible to load most modern sites without critical “brakes”. On a regular “BIT” we are initially given 50 MB, after which the speed drops to 64 Kbit/s, which is more tolerable, especially for the much more humane price of 149 rubles/month.

However, let's be honest with ourselves. “MiniBIT”, although we expected 10 rubles per day with AP, but got it for 15, is not intended for constant use, but only for periodic Internet surfing from a phone or smartphone.

But how many people need unlimited Internet for a phone like this? I think it's unlikely. If you have a modern Android or Windows smartphone that literally “lives” on the network, God himself ordered you to connect a full-fledged “BIT” or “SuperBIT” for it, and the first of them will cost only three bottles of beer per month. In other cases, the subscriber will most likely need a hundred or two kilobytes of traffic for a one-time mail check, which will cost him about 2 rubles. Although, of course, if he does not know that MiniBIT has already been “kindly” connected to him, then for this procedure he will pay the operator the entire 15 rubles, for which, in fact, the option, apparently, was created.

However, as a fan of working on the Internet with a netbook in nature on hot summer days, I often use a regular “BIT” to fully access the Internet by connecting the smartphone to the computer as a modem. For banal browsing of websites in this version, “BIT” is quite enough for me, even despite the stated drop in speed after the 50-megabyte quota is exhausted (whether I passed it or not, I didn’t check). However, I don’t spend my time this way every day, and without 149 rubles a simple “BIT” will not work, so the “MiniBIT” option was expected no less than yours. But in the end it was waiting for me. complete disappointment and for web surfing from a non-book, neither 5 MB, nor, especially, a further 32 Kbps is enough for me, and using “MiniBIT” for this purpose is rather contraindicated.

As a result, we can simply say about “MiniBIT”: neither two nor one and a half. The option is, to put it mildly, niche and is not intended for more or less frequent access to the Internet either from a phone or a PC (although it was not invented for the latter purpose). And although the idea was certainly interesting, it ended up “as always.” The purpose of this option is banal: to scam the subscriber for an additional 15 rubles by including “MiniBIT” in initial and mandatory package upon connection(with the exception of the MTS Connect, MTS iPad, MAXI, Ultra and Mayak telephone line). Or maybe we can quietly connect it to current subscribers - we'll see. After all, MTS cares about you and me and our savings, doesn’t it?
