The last thing I saw that was decent was the play “Players” by Oleg Menshikov. We met on the set of the film “Pokrovsky Gates”, then we had a period of very close friendship. When we played this play in public for the first time, I had a different role. The one I'm playing now was performed by Natalya Gundareva. So, I felt so bad that I really thought I was going to faint. All my senses were failing - smell, vision... I came to my senses when I said to myself: look how well your colleagues on stage are playing, and now you’ll ruin everything with your fainting. Yes sometimes nervous system contrary to your wishes, he pulls out his own tricks. I was lucky that such actors as Boris Shcherbakov and Natasha Gundareva played with me; Madyanov was not so famous then - there was no “Citizen Chief” yet... I didn’t pretend to be a director. She said that I was “organizing a performance.” Therefore, let those who shout that I am not a director calm down, I admit it myself!

- How did you like working with Natalya Gundareva?

Differently. On the one hand, it was a great honor for me that she was directed by me. On the other hand, she had a difficult character, she was used to always leading everyone everywhere and always. She didn’t like some scenes, she said - I won’t do this, it’s vulgar! From scratch, on the lightest stage, we experienced absolute inhibition. But this did not detract from her professional merits. - You are one of the few women who openly talk about having undergone plastic surgery. How did you decide to have surgery?

As always, out of stupidity. One young actress played in our play. One day she comes and says - look, I cut my eyes! Of course, I caught fire and said, I want the same thing! And just that evening her doctor came to see her for the performance. He says great, come on Saturday. I asked the actress how long it takes to come to my senses later. This will be two or three days longer. I said, let’s do it, and I went under the knife without hesitation. I woke up in bloody bandages, like after the war. Then I did my eyes - my face changed even more. Many didn't recognize it. I’m used to saying, hello, I’m Tanya Dogileva, just in case. A couple of times they didn’t even believe me. To be honest, the world became a much worse place the moment people stopped recognizing me. He stopped smiling at me.

- Other actresses were probably jealous...

No, actresses are specific women. On the contrary, one, having met me at one big party, shouted: “My God, what have you done to yourself, where are your wonderful eyes!” And the whole hall turned to see where my wonderful eyes were... But I myself was pleased with the result and consoled myself - well, it’s okay, I walked around with one face for so many years, now I look like another.

- How do you feel about new weight loss methods?

If you can’t eat anything, it’s better not to eat, but it’s very difficult. I don't take any pills because I'm afraid of them. And I don’t really respect diets. In this sense, I am as unhappy a woman as everyone else. I get fat, then I lose weight, I get fat more and more often... And I get very upset about it. Before filming “Luba...”, she went to a SPA clinic, where she lost 2 kilograms and kept this weight off for a very long time. And when I started to get really tired, I said to myself: Eat, Tanya, dear, otherwise there are no more joys! And then I picked up everything I had thrown away. By the way, Gundareva did not take any Thai pills; she had a very strict diet, scheduled for a month and a half.
